This button is used to diable a card, in other woprds prevent its use.
It is better to disbale a card than to delete it because you retain the Card Holder information. This means that if the card is presented at a reader at some point in the future you wil be able to see which card was used an who it was issued to.
Disabling a card simply take the card OUT of a department and send that information to each door controller.
To disable a card
- Select the Card Holder in the list in the Card Holders window
- Click the disable card holder button
- You will notice that the department is removed.
