From time to time we review the application software Smart for Windows. The ever-changing computer platform can create the need for enhancements and throw up new bugs & quirks.

If you are a registered user of Smart for Windows then these changes are available in a single file for you, the end user, to download and run the latest version. This ensures that you are always in possession of the most capable software revision, free of any charge.

To ensure you are running the latest version, please launch Smart for Windows and on the splash screen check the field, Smart version number, e.g. Smart180. If this is not the latest version available then please feel free to upgrade.

How do I do this?

The method for upgrading your software will vary depending upon what version and serial number you have installed.

For Windows 3.11, 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP

Use ths upgrade if your serial number begins C7RSI. The current serial number is displayed on the opening window of Smart.net. Upgrade SMARTlib.lbr for Omnis version 7.3.7.1 Check your serial number before you download. This is the very latest version.

If your serial number begins with C7RSI, the upgrade is FREE.

1. Download this file (Smartlib.lbr) and put it into the Smart folder.
2. The Smart folder should be found on the C drive of your PC. C:\Smart
3. This Smartlib.lbr file will replace the existing file.
4. MAKE A BACKUP copy of the original Smartlib.lbr file before over writing it.
   
   

If you have and Smart revision older than version 2, then this should be downloaded.

You will require a serial number to be able to use these downloads. The serial number is chargeable.
