Follow the steps below for a full understanding of the SRS vandal resistant audio door entry product range

The system power supply

  • Most installations supplied by SRS use the 9307.1 power supply, however some installations are more demanding. In these circumstances the 5141 is used.

5141
The 9307.1 has a particular advantage over all other door entry manufacturer's power supplies. Most provide 8V (or similar) to provide power to the speaker amplifier in the entrance panel.

SRS provide 12V DC to do this, but this 12V DC can also be used to provide power for the electric lock release. This saves the installer the cost of an additional power supply, or around £20 - £25

Installation Instructions

Another unique feature of SRS systems is the 9307.2 timer relay.

The output from the phone to operate the lock release is normally present while the lock button is depressed. On SRS systems the 9307.2 timer relay operates the lock release for a pre set time (1 - 99 seconds).

The relay output is suitable for interfacing with all access control, keypads and electric locking devices.

Installation Instructions

The 5141 neatly combines the features of the 9307.1 and the 9307.2 into a lockable metal enclosure.

In addition the 5141 allows the installer battery backup and a unique telephone connection system.

The telephone connection systems provide terminations for each telephone making a maintainance, fault finding and installation easier.
