This button simply builds a list of all transactions (events that occur on the system) between 2 dates that you specify. You can then sort the information in an order you choose, then print the information (or a selection of it) to a choice of outputs:-

  • Screen
    • this option lets you preview the information before you send to the Printer
  • Printer
  • File
    • this options send the data to a .prn file which can be opened using popular spreadsheet applications eg. Microsoft Word
  1. Click the button Build Transaction List
  2. A new window opens
  3. Enter a start and stop date to generate a report.
  4. Click the green tick button to proceed
  5. The report will start assembling.
  6. When complete the report will sort the data in date and time order, it can be quickly sorted into name, transaction type or door order to find the information you need. This is done by simply selecting the large heading buttons immediately above the transactions list (eg click Card Holder to sort list in card holder order. Card Holder will be displayed).
  7. If you want to print the report in its entirety then click Send to Printer. Alternatively, if you want to print only a section of the report, then highlight with the mouse all consecutive lines as in FIG. 37 (you may re sort the list after making a selection without loosing your selection) and click the Printer button.
  8. Select the final destination for the report from the options offered
  9. If you chose Screen you can preview the report. Then, to send it to the printer you should select the small ‘P’ button up the right vertical margin and choose the option Print Report.
